Iwate (Part 2) By jhpeterson, on April 7th, 2011 Yesterday we got an early start for the two hour drive from Morioka back to Miyako, on the coast. Our first stop was the Miyako Community Church, where we dropped off some supplies and picked up some more volunteers.
Update on Masako’s Brother
Praise God! I searched my brothers number on internet and I just talked to him. He said four of his family are all O.K. Thank you very much for your prayers now I can sleep well. Masako

Update on Miyamoto’s family in Sendai
Good news! Shunichi heard from his mom this morning. She is allright. Her home was destroyed but she made it to a neighbor’s house. They are still without electricity, gas, and water.
